A lorry crash on the A90 north of Dundee caused major delays on Monday morning for commuters.
The FedEx articulated lorry crashed into the central reservation between Tealing and Petterden at around 5.25am.
Motorists had to deal with tailbacks stretching right back to the Kingsway, with delays of over an hour.
Both lanes of the A90 southbound were closed for most of the morning with one lane of the northbound carriageway closed for the same period.
The lorry was eventually cleared at 1pm after around five hours when contractors managed to cut metal poles and wires out from the central reservation.
A spokesman for Police Scotland Tayside Division said: “As a result of a lorry colliding with the central reservation there were very significant delays in both directions, with the north carriageways worst affected.”
The circumstances of the crash are unclear as yet but there were no other vehicles involved and no serious injuries.
