Police are hunting a man and woman after a teenager’s jaw was broken in an unprovoked railway station assault.
The attack happened at Stonehaven just before midnight on Saturday.
The 18-year-old male victim is now recovering from the serious injury and Police Scotland have released descriptions of a male and female they are seeking in connection with the incident.
The female is described as being in her late teens to early twenties, tall, of slim build with long brown hair.
She was wearing a beige jacket and beige knee high boots.
The male is in his early twenties, of medium build and with short dark hair.
He was wearing a dark blue puffy jacket, blue jeans and grey and black trainers.
PC Graham Crawford said: “This appears to have been a completely unprovoked attack which has resulted in a young man being seriously injured.
“Violent behaviour will not be tolerated and I would urge anyone with information that could assist with our enquiries to contact Police as soon as possible.”
