A man denied sexually assaulting two women by jumping on their backs in the Mearns and Aberdeen.
Colin Spence faces trial over two charges of sexual assault and one breach of the peace in August and September.
The 47-year-old denies sexually assaulting a woman on August 7 in Laurencekirk by seizing her and jumping on her back.
He further denies sexually assaulting a second woman on September 3 at the Old Deeside railway line.
Spence is further accused of a breach of the peace.
It is alleged Spence conducted himself in a “disorderly manner” at various locations, including a wooden walkway at Stonehaven beach and the A92 Stonehaven to Inverbervie road, between August 7 and September 4.
Prosecutors claim he approached female members of the public he did not know before repeatedly falling on the ground.
It is alleged he went on to “present himself as being injured” before asking the women to place him on their backs.
Solicitor Liam McAllister told the court the defence wished reports to be carried out in advance of the trial.
Spence, of Roadside Croft, Findon, will appear in January.
