Firefighters have spent the night at the scene of an Angus farm building fire.
Crews were called to Milton of Ogilvie, south of Kirriemuir, after being called at 6.28pm on Tuesday.
Four appliances were called to the incident: two from Kirriemuir, one from Kingsway and a height appliance from Dundee.
The fire had taken hold on the roof of a domestic building.
The last crew left the scene just after 11am.
.A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the building was empty and there are no reports of any injuries.
Police were also on the scene as officers assisted with road closures near the incident.
‘There was a lot of smoke in the sky’
A witness said: “I saw smoke coming from the direction of the farm. I couldn’t see what was on fire but there was a lot of smoke in the sky.
“Not long after two fire engines flew through Glamis en-route to the fire and I was told there was at least one other fire engine up from Dundee.
“I really hope no one is hurt and that the damage isn’t too bad.”
