A tractor driver has been rushed to hospital following a collision with a car on a Mearns road.
Emergency services attended the scene on the rural Glenbervie Road, near the village of Drumlithie, on Sunday morning.
One male was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary under escort after he was freed from the tractor.
It is understood the man’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Investigators have appealed for witnesses.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A collision investigation is ongoing.
“The car is off the road, overturned and in a ditch.
“The road is blocked at the moment and causing some delays but we expect it to clear soon.”
In another incident, police attended a single-vehicle collision on the A90 in Angus.
Traffic was slow on both lanes northbound following the incident near the Finavon junction, by Forfar, around 1.30pm.
Traffic returned to normal by 3.30pm.
