A trials bike worth £6,000 was stolen from a pick-up truck in an Angus village.
Police are appealing for information after both vehicles were stolen in Wellbank on Thursday.
The SUV was later recovered but the green and black Ossa TR250 bike which was inside is yet to be traced.

PC Nadine Anderson, of Carnoustie Police Station, said they are looking to trace the driver of a silver coloured vehicle as part of their inquiries.
The vehicle was travelling on the Kellas Road around the time of the incident, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Dash-cam footage appeal to trace stolen bike
Ms Anderson said: “We are keen to trace a silver vehicle which was seen on the Kellas Road near to Wellbank at around 4.20am and then again at 4.50am on Thursday.
“The vehicle turned left on to the Kellas Road and headed towards Forfar.
“We are keen to speak with the driver of this vehicle he may hold information that could assist us.
“I would appeal to motorists with dash-cams who were in the area between 4am and 5am to get in touch as they may have captured footage that could assist our inquires.”
