Police are appealing for information after an assault took place in Angus.
The assault happened in the Cookston Crescent area of Brechin on Saturday at around 7pm.
A spokeswoman for Tayside Division said: “Police Scotland can confirm that officers are investigating a report of an assault which is understood to have occurred in an area of communal ground in the Cookston Crescent area of Brechin, Angus between 7pm and 8pm on Saturday, April 29.
“Inquiries are at early stage.
“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 4639 of 29 April.”
