A member of the public has sent in a video of a dramatic garden fire in Angus.
The video shows a back garden in Carnoustie well alight before fire personnel came to dampen the blaze.
One resident rushes to remove a car parked nearby, clearly worried that the flames might spread.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “We can confirm that we are in attendance at a garden fire at a property in McDonald Smith Drive, Carnoustie.
“The call came in at 8.35am and one appliance is in attendance.
“The crew are using two hose reels and one thermal imaging camera.
“There was no harm to members of the public and the fire is under control.”
