Angus crews tackled a farmhouse blaze near Forfar on Saturday night.
Appliances from Forfar, Arbroath and Kirriemuir were called to West Mains of Turin, a few miles east of Forfar, shortly before midnight following reports of a blaze in the kitchen of the two-storey house.
The firefighters were at the scene for more than an hour as the blaze was brought under control.
There were no reports of casualties in the incident.
