A man who sparked a police chase through a field of wheat has been charged.
The 23-year-old allegedly failed to stop his car for police on the A90 Dundee to Aberdeen road near Stonehaven at 11.15pm on Monday.
The incident is said to have sparked a high-speed chase.
After the car was abandoned, the man is then said to have ran away from officers into a wheat field near the road.
He was caught and arrested for allegedly drink-driving, and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
