A council van was involved in an accident on the A92 Dundee-Arbroath road this morning just past Muirdrum.
The accident happened around 8.30am.
The flatbed van ended up on its side across the left-hand lane of the carriageway.
Police were in attendance although traffic was able to get past.
The driver of the vehicle managed to escape without injury.
