Fords to Ferraris, and everything in between, were on show at the second Strathmore Classic Car Tour organised by Forfar Rotary Club.
Town gala day visitors were treated to a convoy of almost 60 classic and modern vehicles passing through the town centre before heading on a sun-kissed route up the Angus coast and beyond, taking in Fettercairn and a lunch stop at Edzell.
The drivers then enjoyed the scenery of Glen Prosen before completing the tour by crossing the finish line at the spectacular setting of Glamis Castle.
The Rotary club thanked sponsors for their generosity in staging the event and the tour looks on course to deliver another major boost for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.Last year the club almost trebled its £6,000 target for SCAA through the success of the inaugural 120-mile tour.
The emergency charity was chosen after Rotarian Andrew Renwick was airlifted by the SCAA helicopter from a Perthshire hillside after suffering a freak off-road motorcycling accident in 2015.
