One lane of the A90 southbound in Angus was blocked on Monday afternoon following a one car accident.
The driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash which happened near the Kirriemuir junction around 3.25pm.
Police said traffic was coping well despite the congestion.
The vehicle is awaiting recovery.
