Arbroath FC brought together the community at Gayfield as they celebrated their championship win with a presentation and trophy tour.
Ahead of the new season, it was an afternoon of fun and activities which brought several local football clubs together as they got to train with their Lichtie idols.
The supporters took advantage of the open day to get the new Pendle home kit with several fans also renewing their season tickets.
The youngsters took advantage of playing on the pitch, and Arbroath players took part in a Soccer AM-style football challenge with Arbroath favourite Bobby Linn winning a trophy kindly donated by Angus Trophy Centre.
Bobby then gave the trophy to the Arbroath Community Sports Club’s junior development squad.
The players and coaches boarded the road train on a whistle-stop tour, with manager Dick Campbell holding the trophy aloft as the train stopped by Keptie Pond, the High Street, Arbroath Abbey and the harbour, before returning to Gayfield.
Former player George Rowe, whose company Megatech is the club’s main shirt sponsor, presented each of the league-winning players their medals, with the latest recruits Danny Denholm, Blair Yule and Thomas O’Brien also being introduced to the supporters.
Derek McInnes brings his Aberdeen side to Gayfield on Thursday July 6 with a 7.30pm kick off.
