A lorry overturned after hitting a bridge on the A92 Arbroath to Montrose road this morning.
The incident happened shortly after 8.30am at the bridge near Inverkeilor.
It is believed that the driver was taken to Arbroath Infirmary with a minor arm injury.
A police spokesman said: “The A92 is currently closed at Inverkeilor after a lorry struck a bridge.
“Fortunately, nobody is injured, however the road will remain closed until the lorry is recovered.”
Tayside Fire and Rescue also attended the accident.
A spokesman said: “There was no persons trapped. We assisted in making the scene safe.”
