Visitors to an Angus festival got the chance to sample the best beer and berries in Scotland on Saturday.
Beer and Berries, which was hosted in the courtyard of Hospitalfield House in Arbroath, is one of the highlights of the 2017 Hospitalfield Summer Festival
The event was organised to coincide with Hospitalfield’s Open Garden Day with entry into the special walled garden by donation.
Gardeners of all abilities also got the chance to quiz the Gardener’s Question Time panel of Ally Bruce, Richard Bruce, Moira Coleman, Jeannie Husband and Diana Robertson.
Adam Newth of Tayberry Restaurant opened the event and judged the homemade jam competition while sharing his food stories with visitors of all ages.
Stall holders included East Scryne Farm, PJ Stirling Fruits, East Seaton Farm, The Gin Bothy, Park Brew, Redcastle Brewery and Hope Organic Garden.
Heritage tours of Hospitalfield House also took place during the event – giving people a chance to see inside the house and hear about its rich history.
There was also a final chance for visitors to see Simon Bedwell’s exhibition, Society.
