A woman suffered a suspected broken leg after falling at Arbroath cliffs on Sunday afternoon.
The Coastguard and two ambulances were in attendance and the woman was taken to hospital to be treated for her injury.
The cliffs are popular with walkers but have also been the scene of countless tragedies over the years.
One passer-by said: “You always fear the worst when you see blue lights at the cliff but it looks like the woman will be okay.”
