A male passenger was taken to hospital in the early hours of Saturday morning after a car overturned on the A90 near Kirriemuir.
Police received a report that a blue Audi had overturned and landed on its roof just before midnight near the A926 junction to Kirriemuir.
The female driver was unhurt but the male passenger was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment for an arm injury.
The car was travelling northbound when the accident took place.
BEAR Scotland were called to the scene to investigate a possible road lighting failure.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
