The A90 between Dundee and Forfar has reopened in both directions.
Flooding caused by Storm Gerrit has forced the A90 to close at Inverarity on Wednesday.
The road has now reopened but a lane closure remains in place on the southbound carriageway at Gateside.
The road was closed for more than eight hours.
Elsewhere in Angus, the A92 was closed at the Elliott Roundabout in Arbroath and at Ardestie, near Monifieth.
The disruptions came as Storm Gerrit continued to wreak havoc across Tayside and Fife on Wednesday.
