An elderly man who was reported missing in Arbroath on Tuesday has been traced safe and well
Police issued an appeal to trace Alexander Carrie who had last been seen at his home address in the town’s Bellevue Gardens early on Tuesday morning.
The 79-year-old’s disappearance was described as “out of character”.
Police Scotland have confirmed that Mr Carrie has been traced and thanked the public for their assistance in the matter.
