Best pictures as crowds flock to Monifieth Gala

Photographer Alan Richardson snapped some spectacular photos at this year's Monifieth Gala.

Hundreds turned out for the popular Monifieth Gala which was an afternoon of entertainment for all the family.

Locals enjoyed a food market, craft stalls, a medieval village, beer tent and live music at Blue Seaway Park.

Furry friends competed for the Golden Paw Trophy, while others gazed in awe at the bird of prey display.

Our photographer Alan Richardson was on hand to capture the best pictures from the day.
