A Brechin woman has had her driving licence removed after she asked Forfar Sheriff Court to ban her from the road for life.
Helen Whittet, 57, of Slater Way, was caught drink-driving near the town’s Tesco Express store on August 17.
Whittet admitted to having 58 microgrammes of alcohol in her system with the legal limit being 22.
Sheriff Gregor Murray ordered the 57-year-old to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and banned her for life at her own request.
