Police and paramedics were called after a car hit a pylon on a Mearns road.
The Smart Forfour car was travelling on the A90 northbound and left the road just after the junction for the B974 at Marykirk at around 8.15am.
No other vehicle was involved and an engineer was called to survey the pylon for damage.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 8.15am to attend a road traffic collision on the A90 at Laurencekirk.
“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene.
“No patients required transport to hospital.”
