A woman escaped serious injury after her car ended up on its roof following a single vehicle accident in Forfar on Thursday morning.
The accident happened just after 9am at the Craig O Loch Road in Forfar just north of the traffic lights at one of the main town junctions.

The woman was extricated through the rear of the silver Vauxhall Corsa by firefighters and paramedics.
Roads around the traffic lights were closed and traffic was being diverted through the town centre.
No other vehicles were involved and the woman was conscious.
She is not believed to have been seriously injured.
Fire crews, paramedics and police remained on the scene afterwards.
The woman was taken to hospital.
