Montrose Minor Injury and Illness Unit (MIIU) will be operating under reduced hours this weekend due to unplanned staff absence.
The MIIU will be open on December 9 and 10 from 9am until 4.30pm. It will return to normal operating hours on Monday December 11.
Anyone who goes to the Montrose unit after 4.30pm will be able to use the phone at the entrance to speak to staff at the Arbroath MIIU, which is open 24 hours a day.
Patients can also contact NHS 24 on 111.
Vicky Irons, Angus Health and Social Care Partnership chief officer, said: “We would like to apologise for any disruption this may cause.
“It is essential that we provide an MIIU service with appropriately skilled staff which is safe for patients and staff. Due to staffing difficulties, we have had to make the decision to restrict the opening of the unit this weekend.”
