A female driver escaped serious injury in a spectacular Angus road accident on Saturday afternoon.
The woman’s Ford Ka came to rest on its roof after she lost control of the vehicle on the B9134 Brechin to Aberlemno road, near Stannochy Bridge just before 4pm.
Police and paramedics attended at the scene but the driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was reported to have avoided significant injury.
She did not require hospital treatment.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident and traffic experienced only slight delays while the accident scene was cleared.
