A cyclist was lucky to escape with only minor injuries when he was involved in an accident with a lorry in Arbroath.
The man had to be freed from underneath the Geddes Group lorry on Keptie Road near Arbroath Cricket Club.
Photos from the scene show the man’s bike lodged under the Scania vehicle after the accident, which happened at around 4.10pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services raced to the scene and the man was removed with the help of firefighters.
He was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, and police later confirmed the man had escaped with “minor injuries”.
