Thieves have stolen a haul of tools from an Angus farm.
Police Scotland said the break-in to a storage shed at a farm near Montrose happened between 10 pm on Saturday and 9 am the following morning.
The crooks removed a padlock before taking numerous items stolen.
Police said that because the shed is away from the main road it is unlikely that the incident would have been seen,, but they believe some of the stolen items might be offered for sale around the area.
They include a Stihl chainsaw, Draper jackhammer in a case, a nine-inch grinder, Draper drill, Makita reciprocating saw, two pneumatic airguns and a socket set.
A Police spokesman said: “If you have any information regarding these items or the break-in itself, please call 101 or speak with any Police officer.
“Information can also be given anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is CR/4067/18.”
