Fire crews rushed to put out a fire at a filling station in Forfar on Tuesday night.
The fire service received reports of smoke within the SPAR petrol station shop on Academy Street at around 8.15pm.
Two appliances attended and extinguished the blaze within minutes with the store evacuated.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said: “There appeared to be smoke within the building and we confirmed there was a fire within the property.
“A refrigeration unit was found to have caused the fire and this was removed to open air.
“We received a stop message at 8.30pm with crews remaining at the scene to complete safety checks.
“There were no reported injuries.”
