A male has been arrested in connection with an alleged late night break-in to a Kirriemuir shop.
The Spar on Lindsay Street was the centre of an incident around 11.20pm on Friday night.
Police Scotland have said that inquiries into the matter are ongoing, but confirmed a male has been arrested as part of the investigation.
The store was open to the public on Saturday morning.
