An Angus man killed after being struck by a lorry was a popular mechanic who was “much loved” by his family.
Allan Brymer, from Brechin, had completed his shift at Arnold Clark’s Craigshaw Road premises in Aberdeen and was crossing Wellington Road to collect his car when he was struck at about 5pm on Monday.
The 54-year-old’s daughter Laura said he was “much loved by his family”.
An Arnold Clark spokeswoman also paid tribute to Mr Brymer, adding: “We are extremely saddened by the sudden passing of one of our employees, Allan Brymer.
“Allan was a well respected, long-serving member of Arnold Clark and he will be greatly missed.
“Our thoughts are with his family and we have offered them our support during this tragic time.”
Sergeant Scott Deans of Police Scotland’s road policing department said: “Our thoughts at this difficult time remain with those involved and their families.
“Our investigations continue and in order to help piece together exactly what happened, I would urge anyone who may have seen the incident itself and who hasn’t yet come forward to contact police on 101.”
