The Scottish round of the Fur Nations Cup has once again been fought out in the historic grounds of Glamis Castle.
For the third year in succession, participants from across the country enjoyed three days of high-energy activity at the Angus landmark as they competed in the burgeoning canine cross-country sport of CaniX.
Although the pursuit has been around for almost 15 years, its appeal has grown significantly in more recent times and Glamis has proved a popular venue.
It involves dogs in a harness accompanying their owner around the course.
Competitors enjoyed a range of challenges in glorious conditions, with cross-country routes of between two and ten kilometres set out for all ages in the castle grounds.
The Angus event was the second leg of the three-part Fur Nations contest, which got under way at Pembrey in Wales in April.
The competition reaches its conclusion at the end of this month when dogs and owners will gather at Cannock Chase in Staffordshire.
