The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended an outbreak of fire in the entrance close of a block of flats in Arbroath on Tuesday.
The call came in shortly after 2 pm regarding a fire on the ground floor property at Fraser Path.
Three appliances attended the scene and the fire was extinguished using one jet.
No individual property was affected and all persons were accounted for.
The emergency services left the scene shortly before 2.30 pm.
