Fire crews raced to the scene of a suspected house fire near Lochlands outside Forfar this evening with plumes of smoke visible from the town centre.
Two appliances were dispatched after an emergency call was received at 8pm.
However, firefighters found two vehicles and a hedge on fire outside the property, and fought the blaze with two hose reel jets.
It is understood there are no casualties and fire crews remain on site.
