Football might not be coming home but England football hero Harry Kane gave Carnoustie High pupils a day to remember.
The High School’s over-16s were working at The Open in the town last week and were involved in the final tidy-up of the course this week.
A big thank you to @HKane for taking time out his round to get a picture with the kids. Hope your round went well. #theopen https://t.co/zyVP1tDwYj

World Cup Golden Boot winner Kane – who spent the weekend watching the golf – played a round of golf on Monday following the conclusion of the championship on Monday.
The Tottenham striker posed for a selfie with the delighted youngsters and the picture was quickly uploaded to social media.
He also took part in a special challenge set up by Sky Sports during their coverage of the competition.
When Kane was introduced to the crowd, a few could be heard booing the England skipper but the star just laughed off the jeers.
