A female passenger in a vehicle which overturned on Carnoustie High Street has had to be cut free by fire-fighters.
Appliances from Arbroath and Balmossie fire stations attended the scene after the call came in at 1.20pm on Saturday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue crews found one passenger trapped inside the car which was on its roof.
They used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the occupant from the vehicle.
She was released into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and is being conveyed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
Fire-fighters made the scene safe but the High Street remains closed.
