Carnoustie Flower Show trophy winners received their prizes on Saturday at Carnoustie Leisure Centre.
Exhibitors displayed entries in competitive classes for cut flowers, pot plants, vegetables, fruit, floral art, preserves, baking, handcrafts, photography and children’s section.
The Flower Show’s top awards this year were the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society’s Grenfell Medal received by Maureen Bremner from Carnoustie.
The medal is awarded to the exhibitor who wins the most prize money in the floral section.
The society’s Rose Bowl which this year was awarded to the most outstanding exhibit in the industrial classes went to Irene Donaldson from Carnoustie.
There were over 230 competitive classes with over £500 in prize money and 30 trophies and medals awarded.
The show was open to the public before the presentation which was made by Carnoustie Community Council chairman Arliss Rhind.
