Storm Ali has brought down power lines and trees across Angus.
Heavy rain, high winds, flying debris, falling trees, power cuts and travel disruption hit the region.
The road in to Tealing off the A90 was closed just after lunchtime after an electricity pylon was blown on to the road.
The incident happened at the Tealing junction at the top of Emmock Road and engineers were working to fix the problem.
Angus Council said it had received reports of trees coming down and branches on roads in various parts of the county since Storm Ali swept in.
It said crews were committed to dealing with issues as they arise.

Reports of fallen trees included near the Forfar Academy Campus, Glamis Road; B957 access Esk Hill to Forfar Road; A937 Marykirk road to Hillside; B9113 Montrose to Gowanbank Forfar; road at Findowrie Cottages at Brechin; B9127 access to Bridgton at Forfar; Arbroath to Forfar at Dunnichen sign; Kingennie area; at Moir Place, Arbroath; and near to Isla Primary School, Kirriemuir.
There were also reports of fallen branches at the Carnoustie/Forfar Road, north of Pitlevie Farm B9128; between Airlie Primary and West Muir; Montrose Road, Arbroath; A92 – north of Montrose near Charleton fruit farm; High Street, Arbroath; Provost Reid Road, Montrose; and at Horniecross.
Residents also reported a tree down at Hillend Road in Monikie.
