Police Scotland is appealing for information after a Forfar car fire.
The incident happened between 2.30am and 3am on Tuesday in Gallowshade Road.
Scottish Fire And Rescue Service were called when a silver BMW was discovered on fire.
They managed to extinguish the fire, and confirmed that it appeared to have been caused deliberately.
This took place in an area where a number of private garages are situated off the top of Gallowshade Road, and behind a shop on Glenogil Terrace.
