A single car crash forced the closure of part of the A90 between Forfar and Dundee on Sunday evening.
The incident happened just before 7pm on the northbound carriageway near Happas.
A female passenger in the vehicle suffered what police said was a minor injury.
However, the vehicle came to rest in the centre of the carriageway and police put a brief closure in place at the Happas junction to allow the car to be recovered.
