An Angus man has denied two New Year attacks in Kirriemuir.
Callum Davidson, 23, of Kirriemuir, is alleged to have assaulted another male in the Angus town’s High Street on January 1 by repeatedly punching him on the head and butting him on the head, to his injury.
He is also charged with assaulting another male on the same date by repeatedly punching him on the head, to his injury.
Davidson was not present at Forfar Sheriff Court on Thursday when the case called before Sheriff Jillian Martin-Brown.
Trial was set for January 28, with an intermediate diet scheduled for January 8.
