The victim is thought to be a man who was pulled from his burning property at River Street. Investigators at the scene of the fatal blaze The fire broke out around 4pm and paramedics treated a man at the scene for some time before he was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. The rear of the house at River Street Sadly, police confirmed on Saturday morning that the matter has now become a fatal fire investigation. A spokesman said: :”Police Scotland are investigating a fatal fire at an address in Brechin.
