This is the deafening moment the ships of an Angus port welcomed in the New Year.
The vessels docked at Montrose blasted their horns for all to hear as the clocks struck midnight on Hogmanay in what is something of a tradition in the town.
The deafening sound is complemented by nearby fireworks going off.
