Police have traced a driver who allegedly fled his car after a crash in Angus on Friday morning.
The one-vehicle incident took place at near the Arbroath Visitor Centre on Ladyloan at about 11am.
The driver, believed to be a man, is said to have fled the scene following the incident.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland attended a road traffic collision at Ladyloan, near Arbroath Visitor Centre, at 11am today.
“It is understood the driver made off from the scene.”
The spokesman later confirmed the driver had been traced.
