The A90 has reopened after an accident forced its closure in one direction after an accident near Forfar this morning.
The southbound lanes were closed at the Lochlands junction following the two-car collision at about 7.50am.

It reopened around an hour later.
A police spokesman said: “The road was partially closed for a short time. The call came in at 7.50am following the two vehicle collision.
“One person was injured but the injuries are not life-threatening.”
Motorists have already been advised to take extra care as the country experiences freezing conditions.
The road is now fully open.
