Police are hunting vandals who targeted at least three cars in a weekend Angus street attack.
The grey Mercedes C-class, white Kia Sportage SUV and blue Mini were extensively damaged after being deliberately scratched in Taymouth Street, Carnoustie between 6pm and 9pm on Sunday.
Police Scotland fear the cost of damage could rise if other vehicles were also hit.
“There are possibly other cars damaged as well that we not been informed of yet,” said a spokesperson.
“If you have any information that could assist our enquiries, and also if your own vehicle was in that area and has been damaged, please contact us on 101 or speak with any police officer.
“Information can be passed anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.”
