Tayside police have praised the actions of a police dog who helped trace a drink driver.
Officers attended Union Street in Brechin on March 30 at around 2am after receiving a call about a car crashing and landing on its roof.
A statement on the police Facebook page said: “The driver wasn’t with the car when officers attended, so dog handler PC McMaster and his dog Amber attended.
“Amber then picked up a track and traced the driver about half a mile away from the crash, and he was subsequently arrested and charged with drink driving.”
