Scottish Fire and Rescue personnel attended a small fire in a cooker in the kitchen of a house in Muir Street, Forfar on Saturday.
The call came in at 4.45pm and two appliances from the town’s fire station attended the scene.
Fire personnel using breathing apparatus, a CO2 extinguisher and a hose reel brought the blaze under control before leaving shortly after 5pm.
