A motorist had a lucky escape after his car careered off an Angus road and flipped onto its roof.
The silver Opel landed in a wooded area at the side of the A933 Friockheim to Forfar road, near the Letham junction.
The accident happened just before 3pm on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesman described the driver as “walking wounded”.
“He suffered a laceration to his head,” he said. “An ambulance was called but the driver did not require to be taken to hospital.”
The route was partly closed for about an hour while the vehicle was recovered.
