Glamis Castle is aiming to attract a new breed of visitor with its first doggie-friendly cinema night next month.
The popular tourist attraction in Angus has staged a host of open-air events, including movie screenings and the popular Glamis Prom.
On June 1, families can take their four-legged friends to the castle grounds for an early evening screening of The Secret Life of Pets.
A spokesperson for organisers Blue Monkey Events said: “There will be awards on the night for best dog over a few different categories. Doggy popcorn and snacks will be available too.”
The event is being organised in partnership with partnership with Dog Friendly Angus and Dundee.
The castle is already a favourite with dog owners from across the UK, including participants in the fast-growing sport of Cani-X who annually take on a cross-country course through the grounds of the Earl of Strathmore’s family home as part of the Fur Nations championship.
